book title : my teacher is an alien
pages in the book :123 ,now I'm on page 123 read 25 pages this week
i understand about 90% of what i read.
*the main idea of this book is :these children found out the way to expose Mr.Smith. The sound of piccolo was a weapon which made the alien power weak ;moreover, it could control alien habits. Mr.Smith had to tell the truth and show everybody the place that he confined some kids and teacher. their lives were saved by the intelligence of six grace kids. Mr.Smith and his company had to go back their planet ,and they brought Peter with them because he wanted to discover a new world . everything became peaceful again , but Susan always remembered about Peter ,a smartest friend , who always wanted to seek something new and interesting.
*this story teach us brave spirit , intelligent thought and inquiring mind although the characters are only some kids.this story really hook the readers by some dangerous and thorny situations. you should read it to learn more some idea about alien . it make your brain relax because it interesting and easy to understand.

Kennedy's brain surgery
"successful"
Sen.Edward Kennedy passed the surgery of brain last Monday. doctors used the most modern instrument to operate brain's Kennedy after they conjectured that they would be successful. doctor had to pay attention on every smallest detail when they took away cancer cell. if they had a little mistake, it would damage the language area of Ken's brain. a notice point was with the old treatment method ,brain cancer people could live 15 months more after surgery,but with a new drug combined modern machine made people live longer. Ken was treated by new method and he was overcame his disease.
* my opinion : Ken was a lucky patient because there were a few people who could pass brain surgery without sequela. the more medicine is progressive ,the more patients save their lives.

Gesner was a man who had a bike accident when he was practicing for the race. the wheel of bike whirled so violent that he couldn't control the bike and he was thrown far away.he was just hurt a little bit.he said that wearing enough preserving tools was a reason that saved his life.he advised everybody to wear defending tools when we used bikes.
Using bikes to travel or racing is very popular,but there are not many peoples who wear the right tools to protect themselves. this article reminded us to be careful when we used bikes, and we should check our bikes before using them so that we could avoid the bikes accident.

book club # 4
book title : my teacher is an alien
i'm now on page : 82
i read 22 pages this week
i understand :80%
Susan tried to pull Mr.Smith's face, but it didn't work .therefore, Susan and Peter had to found another way to proof the truth.they decided to bring a camera and take some photo about Mr.Smith. in the morning ,some students in Mr.Smith's class had very strange behave .Susan asked Peter and he told that told the Story about alien to them,so they thing they were one of the kids that Mr.Smith had wanted to kidnap. however ,Peter said that,but he thought Susan was the only student that Mr.smith had wanted.
my opinion : peter is really the smartest one because he can deduce what Mr.Smith is going to do next .he had many interesting ideas such as ,bringing a camera ,or telling the truth to evrybody .there is an surprising thing which that was all of student believed what he said including Duncan.

tittle : Kids search for the greatest catch at Auburn fishing derby

every year ,there is a competition of catching fish for the kids at Auburn for some kids who are over 3 years old. the parents of these kids considered this game was very useful for their children to improve patience ,passion and power. moreover ,they had a lot of fun because the parents could play with them in this game. they taught their children how to catch fish successfully .for example, preparing tool, baiting and hooking so that they did not only catch fish as a game ,but they also catch fish in the natural environment . if they caught a fish, they could cook some kind of food .
my opinion: i chose this news because it provided us an important information that was let our children familiar with the wild environment because in this modern life , almost kids play modern games on the computer or other machines . they become more and more far away natural world as animal or vegetation .

book club #3
title of book : my teacher is an alien

Now , I'm on page 61.
I read 17 pages this week.
I understand about 80% of what i read.
When Susan and Peter checked Mr.Smith's house, they didn't found any unusual thing .Until, they climbed on the garret and found out that Ms.Schwartz was kept in a column of blue light. Her hair stood straight , her eyes opened wide. Neither her body ,her eyes nor her mouth could move .She looked like a statue. Susan and Peter wonder if their teacher was alive .While Peter tried to find the way to save Ms.Schwartz ,Susan put her hand into the blue light ; then she heard Ms.Schwartz's voice .They communicated by thought. Ms.Schwartz suggested them to go back and denounce Mr.Smith at the school. She told them the reason that Mr.Smith taught in this school in order to catch some students and bring them into the space. Susan was one of some student that he wanted. After that, she asked them to go away and not to worry about her because she was still fine .Susan and Peter return home ,and they thought about how to disturb Mr.Smith.
Tomorrow morning ,Susan came to class ;she pretended sick and unconscious ; then Mr.Smith run toward and held her .She put her hand on his ear and pulled......
*the most significant thing that impressed me: they found Ms.Schwartz in Mr.Smith's house. she was still alive although she couldn't move or look .they could made a conversation by thought.
*this is a significant because it proves the truth that there are some aliens who appeared in this area ,and everything that Susan talked about Mr.Smith was correct .They knew the plot of Alien so that i could rescue their friends.
*i chose this because it is an important part in this story .it made this story more interesting ;moreover it bids the reader want to know more about the story.

First time ,only Susan knew who Mr Smith was when she broke up in his house .She heard the conversation between Mr Smith and his partner (of course ,this one was an alien ,too) that they would catch some of kids and bring them into the space to study in the lab . She returned home and thought how she could told everybody about that .There was nobody would believe her story.She thought about Peter who was only one could help her find out the truth. At fist,Peter thought it was a game that Susan wanted him to play with until Susan asked him to come and "search" Mr Smith's house again. They decided to come there when they were sure that Mr Smith wasn't home because of the faculty meeting in school. They slowly got in to his house with a flashlight ....
that's all for this part ,i think it will be more and more interesting later.i do want to know more information, but i don't have time to read.....ohohohoh
